Welp, it’s a snow day here in Tennessee! We got (maybe) four inches last night, but since there are no plows and I don’t think the roads were salted…a snow day we will all enjoy!
The only kind of scary thing about all this snow and horrible roads is that with 15 days till baby and some cramps starting yesterday…going in to labor would not be ok today. I told Baby G he’s gotta stay in there a few more days, so hopefully he will listen to his mama! I think he will. I now know that Braxton Hicks feel like cramps and not anything like was previously explained.
So, what are my snow day plans? Well, watching Kelly & Michael, getting through Kathy & Hoda, and then Ellen (my fav!). Duh! Possibly some banana bread baking, granola making, and some house cleaning. Oh yeah, and some resting and relaxing combined with checking work emails.
Baking and house cleaning are definitely going to require some music. So, what better time to have a mashup of the week!
Ok now, you are either going to love or hate this mashup. If you love Grease and love Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg…you are going to be one happy camper. If you are my brother and loathe Grease because your annoying sister made you watch it a million billion times, then come back again another day. I’m sorry, I’m not sorry. Oh, and I have used this mashup in class for sprints. My brother would not have approved.
Oh man, this mashup makes me so happy! Day = Made. Dadadadada, it’s the one and only D-O-double G!
Name that movie and we’ll be the bestest of friends forever!!!!!
Did you guess it???
P.S. I probably watched this clip about five times mouthing the words and cracking myself up. It’s amazing I’m still married.
This week I knew I wanted to do a rock n’ roll ride. At first, I thought I was only going to do songs with rock n’ roll in the title, but I wasn’t really feeling it. So….I got to the heart of rock n’ roll and came up with this little playlist.
My favorite part of the whole playlist is:
- The title. I mean, c’mon.
- The fact that I got to play Jivebunny & the Mastermixers
Never heard of Jivebunny you say??? Well then, you just haven’t lived. Or…you weren’t a huge dork who would listen to the entire cd and dance around the pool. Yes, while other kids were dancing around to NKOTB, I was a chubby little 4th grader dancing around to Jivebunny. Explains a lot.
This spin routine had a little bit of everything. Some flat roads, rolling hills, sprints, medium to heavy hills. and some jumps. The songs weren’t as random as the last time, but the ride was more random. I have to say, I like mixing up the ride a bit. I find it makes the time fly by. Pun intended. Tee hee hee, spin humor.
I think my Monday 5:30AM class liked this playlist. It was a bit hard to tell. Class numbers were low this morning, possibly due to Veterans Day. It’s hard to build a lot of energy with only three people in the room. Yeah. I was bummed to only have three this morning, but we rocked it out to the best of our abilities. I mean, what’s a better time to rock and roll than at 5:30 in the morning?!?!
